Description

The listing, 7lbs of Science Fiction/Fantasy Books has ended.

As you can see in the picture My Cases runn'eth over. I have more books then most small town libraries and Since I have moved into a mobile park I gots nowhere to put them, 99.9% of my books are SF/Fantasy the other .1% is my wife's mystery. I am keeping most of my Hard covers but I MUST (pretend) to get rid of some of my paperbacks (my Wife sez "them or you Bub, I don't care which!") Unfortunately she is not kidding.So I will send as close to 7lbs of paperbacks as I can. THESE ARE ALMOST ALL BOXED AND STORED, so you can ask but I cannot for sure say what I have and do not have. Sorry,
The few mystery I have I can get to so fell free to ask about them, there are not many so this is mostly for SF/fantasy, I will try to match Author preference for high bidder, but no promises, most of my books are in good condition, are complete with covers though a few are well read books I got CHEEP. I will not dump a bunch of them on winner (just a couple)
Sending Media Mail and 7lbs is a few cents less then $5.00 sorry I cannot Free ship unless bids go outasite PayPal Only please.

Sorry It's a hard cover and the auction is for soft covers, If bidding goes WAY HIGH, I may add it. but we are talking thousands and thousands. The picture is just an example of my Book storage problem. Thanks for looking and I hope you bid. ;}

what kind of mystery; sample authors? Very interested if I get more credits before you end. Son is SF/Fantasy expert, too. Love it - fanned you

I don't pay much attention to what my wife reads (she doen't on mine either) and she is not here till next Tuesday but I believe I have seen JA Jance, Janet Evonavich, John Grishem, there is one series she talks about a female PI, not sure which. I will try to get ahold of her before auction end and tell you more.
And thanx, fanned U back

I like mostly SF/a few fantasy - Heinlein, Donaldson, the female authors like Ursula LeGuin and mostly the older writers as opposed to new unknowns. Thanks again

Good, matches my likes, I will try to find some of those, just keep in mind most of my books are in crates and hard to look through and I tend to get my favorites in Hard back so I can keep them for years. Do you like Terry Pratchett? I have a couple of his readily available (only one of his in a shippment though)

Never read - worth a try. Always willing to try new, no point in re-reading what I already have on hand.

Thats my problem, before illness I read 10 to 15 books a week and found I was buying and rereading books I had already read before I got to books I had not read yet. My wife sez she saw some books that I had 4 or 5 copies of, Oh Well!

AAHHH! Some of the very best! While I like many older and newer, If I was straped to a water board I would end up confessing that Asimov, Bradbury, Heinlien, Silverberg,( IN that order) would be my top four, VERY closely followed by the others you list,

Only one left of the three fathers is left of the "silver age" Ray Bradburry,among Asimov and Clarke. Though the true father of all was Heinlen. Unless you want to give Burroughs"Tarzan"alittle credit. I would rather have hard covers, but few want to let go of those.

I have to confess Clarke's RAMA Series left tears in my eyes. I knew he was close to leaving this planet when he published them. I have the wholle 1st ed. series.
