this is indeed an 1961 Two Shilling from Great Britian. Another thing to help maximize your auction of coins is to provide a picture of both sides of the coins. This is what is called Pre Decimal coinage. Around the late 1960s Great Britian went to the New Pence and did away with the Shilling. During this time 12 pence made a shilling and there were coins like a 3 pence and a 6 pence. With the conversion the 6 pence was done away with and brides were left with empty shoes
