These fabulous pieces just arrived from a digger in Eastern Europe.

I am very surprised these are not decorated in some fashion. I suspect if they are Norse they are very old and possibly ended up there through the Norse going a-viking. Since they were usually used to keep garments closed or together (think safety pin) these are found all through Great Britain and Europe. They were easily lost.

I have a few of these that are replicas.

I auctioned one about a month ago that was heart shaped and had a wonderful amber bead on it. Could still see some faint blue lacquer/paint on it as well. These are "plain" in comparison but still wonderful treasures!

im confused by your title,,, it says free shipping with gin, but on the post its says free shipping to Canada and us.. usually if that is listed it don't matter if the person wins on auction for less, or uses gin,, u listed it as free shippin so by site rules ur regulated to ship to the us for free even if they got it for less then the gin,, it don't matter to me im in Canada,, but jus sayin

I originally had it listed as "free ship to US with GIN"... but you can see that there was an update made: shipping options were upgraded.

I changed it to "free shipping Canada and US"
