No, I didn't mean that at all. I meant the Play 'n' trade store it was bought from. How did they get a sticker on the case of a game that was new without taking the plastic wrapper off?

That you recognized the "PnT" and knew what it was is impressive, sir. You're a true gamer! I bought the game new and paid full price for it. At the time, I wasn't sure if I would like the game. So, I kept the receipt and slipped the extra price label (you see) on it to mark it so I wouldn't forget to make a decision on it. I liked the game and kept it, but never bothered to remove the sticker (although its not stuck on). I took so many pictures of my horde of games that I didn't pay it any attention before uploading the pics to Listia. I will, effective immediately, torture, decapitate and burn that price sticker super dead in honor of you, MrCat. That, I promise.

No more worries. I got this! ;)

Hi everyone. News update: Lets all have a moment of silence for the mass casualties, after purrmonster666 called in a "Tactical-GIN-Nuke" strike that utterly and completely wiped out an entire team of bidders' hopes and dreams recently at my "CALL of DUTY 4: MODERN WARFARE" auction. Nothing but silence and a crater full of radiation can be found at the aftermath. Last man standing, purrmonster666, won the prize. Godspeed people!

GIN is a powerful thing.

The price tag says this game was new when someone bought it for around sixty dollars. Is that price tag stuck on there? Why would someone unwrap the plastic from a game, and then plaster a sticker on the front cover and then sell it as new?

I'm curious. Where in the history of the world does it say in my description its being "sold as new"?
