Filigree- Can you see how the ring is cut out in an intricate pattern, that is filigree, filigree comes in many different patterns.
CZ- Cubic Zirconium (Man Made diamonds)
18k ge- 18k GOLD electroplate (Gold overlaid on another metal)

Last but not least, Yes it is a signed piece. It is a Vargas.

I know what you mean, Gold is coming back in style full force, by fall you are going to see gold all over the place. With the price of Gold right now, we are going to see alot of GE or Overlay and Filled. It has been about 10yrs sense yellow gold has been big, but it is coming in hot this fall, so watch the fashion magazines. Mixing metals will be hot also. Copper is another big metal for fall.
