The listing, Assortment of 10 Vintage Political Pins / Buttons (Roosevelt, Kennedy and More) has ended.

Up for auction are an Assortment of 10 Vintage Political Pins / Buttons (Roosevelt, Kennedy and More). These were acquired by my grandfather more than half a century ago and are all original, none of these are reproductions. He has since passed away and while I appreciate their history, I would rather see them in the hands of someone who would appreciate them and give them a loving home. All of these buttons feature prominent politicians and are a must for any collector of American history. Overall they are in very good condition though they feature some minor scuffs and rust which is common given their age and the material that they were originally produced from. Unfortunately these appear to be tin or lithographed pinbacks rather than celluloid covered (the Grant is a fantasy as buttons were not made prior to 1894) are from a series of reproduced pins, which should be noted on the bottom curl - please see the American Political Items Collectors Reproduction Brummagem page: http://apic.us/Portals/6/ResourcesBrummagem/Page_08.jpg

Researching further, this set was initially offered by the United States Boraxo Company as "Historic Campaign Buttons" advertising in 1972 to mark the company's 100th anniversary.
