Germination Info: Drop a few seeds into seed starting soil, or a jiffy pellet. Spritz with enough water to moisten, but not soak seed. Keep soil medium moist till sprouts form, then bottom water feed, still not saturating soil. Transplant into bigger pot when roots start to outgrow the container. Transplant outdoors spring, or summer. This plant does well in zones 7-9. It is both drought tolerant, and flood tolerant. It will self sew seeds by pods that explode to disperse seed. Grow in containers or anywhere outdoors where you dont mind spreading. It will tolerate divisions that transplant easily. A beautiful addition to the landscape...very ornamental with a constant array of blossoms.
