Well, from my experience it was actually big on my daughter. I'm sure it depends on your child's frame; my daughter is very petite and thin. I do think though that it is a bit large in size anyways, especially because you have the option of either zipping it and leaving the buttons undone or vice versa. I know the pic doesn't show it too well but there's a cute pink hoodie attached to the jacket. I wish my daughter could still wear it. Too Cute :)
