The listing, Vintage Sterling (.925) Silver Lily Brooch has ended.

Vintage sterling silver .925 lily brooch. Very delicate in construction (they do not make 'em like this anymore). 95mm x 83mm.
If you love one-of-a-kind items, that were handmade not mass produced, then this beautiful piece of 1940's Americana is just what the doctor ordered.
This classic piece was my grandmothers and passed down, through my mother, to me. It is too gorgeous to sell for scrap and my wife does not wear brooches (I have no daughters or daughter-in-laws). So, rather than sell this to a "cash for scrap" place or let it gather dust in a jewelry box, it is now up for sale/auction here.
Silver is considered the purest of all the fine metals and, as such, this wonderfully simple, ornate piece would make an outstanding addition to any collection.
All Listia rules apply. I usually to ship within 48 hours of the winning bid and only ship to the continental United States. Only verified address' are eligible, please.
Out of fairness to all, please do not ask for a lower starting bid, a GIN or shortening of the auction time frame. As with all my auctions shipping is FREE and with a tracking number this time. Please keep in mind that if this auction ends after 4:30 pm, MT, I am not able to ship until the following Monday (USPS hours of service in my home town). Absolutely. My plan is to take the utmost care in the packaging of this item. I am willing to take extreme measures to ensure safe delivery if the winner is willing absorb these costs. Otherwise, the brooch will be safely bubble-wrapped and securely tucked into a small box for shipping. The estimated cost, should extreme measures be desired, is $6.00. i have cancelled all my auctions. as i have stated above. any credits will be refunded ASAP. i do not know how to stop auctions in progress. the bullying i noted has transferred over to fb. so, i may have to remove my cyber-footprint for quite sometime. i have severe PTSD from my service and my fight or flight instinct has been peaked. i'm sorry for any misunderstandings.
