You look at the craft store for refills in the same brand and then the same colour as your ink pad. Once home again dribble some refill onto the pad, use a scraper, they cost about 50¢, (I use a popsicle stick) and even it out. Then stamp happily again.

Some have, some haven't. But you can always add ink to them. These all felt pretty fresh when I checked them.

How do you match ink? not being smart. i just want to know. i'm pretty new at stamping.

There are also some products out that supposedly stretch the life of any colour ink pad. I personally have not had good luck with these types of products.
