This is a postcard that emulates an old poster ad for Alfred Hitchcock's movie "The Birds" (yawnnnnnnn).....oh excuse me. I"m a fan of Hitch and have been a student who studied him in film school but, the Birds did nothing for me. So, if you're like me and didn't like the birds, then you wouldn't be looking at this auction then would you? Haha! So I digress. If you are a Birds fan, you really need to pick up this post card (and to widen out in which Hitch films you see and enjoy <start with "The Farmer's Wife" for one>). ;) Don't get me wrong; it's a tolerable movie but, it is not a good FILM imho. Anywho....the card is in really good shape with the exception of the lower left corner. That corner edge, at the very tip, is blunted considerably. There also appear to be some, what I would call "Stress Marks" on that bottom quarter (wide) of the card, or some sort of indentations that have been pressed into the paper. Other than that, the card is ready to be added to your wonderful post card or Alfred Hitchcock fan stash! The post card is approximately 5 and 7/8s inches wide by 4 inches tall.
