What is silver content?

The composition is 10% silver, 70% copper, 10% Nickel, 10% Zinc. The silver content is so low that the coin is silver-plated.

In Mexico they are mainly smelted for silver. Nowadays, on a $20 ounce of silver you can get around 60 cents for each.
