This is a brand new embossing folder from Cricut.com so it is a Cuttlebug embossing folder. You can not just go into any craft shop and purchase cricut embossing folders. They are only available through certain sites. I call this particular folder "Berry Delicious" Embossing folder because it portrays several favorite berry fruits such as strawberries and cherries.If you know anything about embossing folders, you know that Cuttlebug embossing folders stand for quality!) These folders can be used on most popular embossing machines. This is perfect for making cards or scrapbooking those special moments. This folder measures about 5 3/4 inches by about 4 1/4 inches.

If you need some help learning embossing techniques, there are lots of demonstration videos on you-tube and by Tim Holtz on timholtz.com. (Just look at the top of the page where it says Videos and click. Then, look on the right side of the page where it says Die Cutting/Embossing and click.) Tim likes to use a light sander to gently rub the top of the embossed item to make it pop. Anna Griffin does the same thing, but she likes to also use a brayer and put washable metallic ink in the folder then run it through the embossing machine. Then, just wash off the ink. She also will use an ink pad and just dab the top of an embossed image.

One of my plans for a Christmas gift is to make a family recipe book scrapbook style! This is one of those plans that should fit in quite well! For one, it portrays healthy fruits:)
