**Let me start out saying this laptop is brand new, paid over $1100, but my bf broke the keyboard and tried to fix it with no luck! And yesterday the screen stopped working. I really really love this laptop and have been using it as desktop pc connected to my hdtv with a wireless keyboard and mouse. So basically the laptop works 100 percent besides the keyboard and screen...so it's your gain and my loss! :)

unless screen has cracked it is most the issues with screen is the inverter.

The screen is 100% free of cracks. It could be the inverter. I don't have time to fix it so if you can that would be awesome for you!

Yes but they can be fixed rather easily and the whole system works just not as a laptop. Fyi... The motherboard by itself is worth $800. So that's why the gin is so high. Thanks for the interest if you don't like it please move along and keep looking!

Ty for listing. I can see that the display works externally and I'm Interested but puzzled about your bf 'breaking the keyboard'.I've replaced a few and laptop keyboards usually stop working because of a loose or damaged connection between the data cable & mobo, a bad mobo or a liquid spill on the keyboard itself. Can you describe how it was broken? Thx. Also did he try to fix the end connector on the motherboard? Sounds like one problem led to another-IDK, kinda looks that way .......Thx & GL on this-W

First let me say thanks for watching! So the thing is.. The keyboard was not responding on a few keys and so he decided to pull the keyboard out and see what the problem was and in that peoject the whole keyboard was damaged. He took the casing apart and looked at the connections which looked fine. The motherboard is fully intact with no problems whatsoever. Thanks again for the questions! Is it possible to put another keyboard on it? Or did your boyfriend destroy all the important connections? Have you had it evaluated at a computer repair center to estimate the cost of repair? I'd like to know the cost of repair before I bid? Sorry so many question.

I believe that all the connections are in place. It is an easy fix. You can get a replacement keyboard on eBay for very little money. Ad no I have taken it to a repair shop, been really busy with work. Hope that answers your questions. :)

The screen isn't dim, it's a reflection. I don't know what what happened but it doesn't come on..it was fine one day then all of a sudden it stopped working.

I don't think so. I ran a few different spyware and virus programs on this laptop several times.
