The listing, The Little Mermaid DVD (Hans Christian Andersen version) has ended.

This DVD is NOT the Disney version of The Little Mermaid... this is the original by Hans Christian Andersen. I bought this used from FYE so it is still in the plastic, but it was used previously.

All items are shipped Priority Mail with tracking number.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the version that was very popular in the 80s as one of the first Japanese/anime-style movies to be popular in the USA (despite the new cover art lol). If so, this was the version I watched as a kid. It is much truer to the original story (i.e. the ending is not as happy), but it's a great film. I highly recommend it to bidders! :)

I'm actually not sure! I've never watched it... just had it laying around and I never got around to it, so I'll let someone else enjoy a classic!
