Description

The listing, nVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 PCI 3D Fuzion Graphics Card 256MB DDR VGA + S-Video Out has ended.

The winner will receive the item pictured. I recently upgraded to a brand new computer. I disassembled my old Dell machine and took out all the parts I wanted to keep and donated the rest. This is a part I decided to keep...until now. I no longer desire to have this sitting around the house. Doing a little fall cleaning.

Comes with a quick install guide, driver software (disc) and one video card. You must have a standard PCI slot on your motherboard to use this graphics card. This was working just fine when last used...which was a couple of months ago.

All Listia rules apply. As always, free shipping with tracking.

I would SO grab this if i knew what was the deal with these GeForce's.

I just popped a FX 5200 in a P4 single core 3ghz system's PCI slot. Has S-Video too. Installed WIn 7 to a tower & the dang this would NEVER let it stay on the TV.

Downgraded about an hour ago to make it more compatible with WinXP so I used the 2000/XP drivers. Now it's stuck in 8bit color & booting to "BOOT TO VGA MODE"

I think I give up on the 5000 series with SVideo ... LOL

I wish I had more expertise in this area to help you out. Windows 7 may be where you problem started out. I used this particular card with windows XP and it worked great. I used to play online games quit a bit and it worked perfect for that. I don't recall that I ever used the s-video connection for anything. I only used it to upgrade so I could play Half Life lol.

Perhaps one of the other watchers/bidder could better help you with the issue you're having.
