The listing, FAKE IPAD has ended.

This is a relist. Winner did not understand the concept of "verified address."This is a fake ipad. It doesn't do anything. it can be used as a toy, a stage prop, or to play a trick on someone. I'm sure our creative Listians can come up with some useful ideas for this item. I have it because one of our not so honest former Listians sent it to me as the real deal. Please don't bid on it for that purpose.

Can you see someone's face if they open a package with this one in it & after a few laughs, you give them a real one? Especially if you are not particularly tech savvy & they think you bought it thinking it was the real thing. ...... Be careful winner, only play jokes on someone with a sense of humor, I don't want to play a part in anyone getting hurt.

Sorry that you got scammed. :( Did you get your credits refunded? I am hoping to save up a bunch of credits for the real deal but am so afraid of getting scammed and losing all those hard earned credits. I may bid on this fake one, I think it would be a great visualization tool that will inspire me to save for the "real deal" . I hope you got yours. Please, let me know if the issue was handled. Yes, Listia refunded my points. My advice to anyone who wins a big ticket item is to video yourself opening the package & be sure to get the tracking number in the video. Most folks are good honest people but some folks are just dishonest. I videoed the whole thing so I had proof while he was calling me every name in the book.

This would be fun to use around the house especially if my nephew likes to look at iPads and I don't want him look at mine items because he's really clumsy with these kind of gadgets. so I'll leave that sit around and maybe it'll trick him. Lol. It would be need to tie a string on it and pull it when someone tries to grab it but I don't wanted to get broken because I really think it's a neat little display which should say big display set the big one.

They sell these on eBay. The reason manufacturers make these is for display purposes, case makers, and crazed Apple fans. So often when the real iPad is displayed for retail purpose, it gets stolen also they don't want to unwrap a brand new one and later sale it for a lot less as a display model. Case makers use them to ensure a proper fit to manufacture cases for the real iPads and crazed fans buy these dummy models usually before the actual product can be released because they can't wait to get it in their hands. Hope that helps. These aren't made to mislead people but unfortunately greedy people always find ways to try to take advantage of good people. Good luck to you in your pursuit of a real iPad. I found one on here that is staying in the cheap but the listing looks very sketchy and the user isn't verified. As for me I'm saving my points and watching this auction. Would love to hang this on my wall next to my iPhone preorder poster and other Apple memorabilia. I am a crazed Apple fan. :)
