The listing, Coach Gallery Signature Embossed Patent Leather East/West Tote EUC has ended.

It's my 50th birthday in a week and a half, and I'm celebrating by giving away 50 items on Listia. Here is a previously loved Coach bag in Excellent Used Condition (EUC) that I personally carried and can say it is one of my favorite Coach purses. Due to the shininess of the surface, my photos do not adequately reflect the truly gorgeous she'd of deep purple of this bag.

Embossed with the Coach signature C design, this eggplant Coach Gallery East/West patent leather tote is beautiful. The Coach logo is on a silver plate on the front and it has a Coach embossed leather hang tag. It has double flat handles, two outer pockets, gleaming silvertone hardware, and a zip-top closure. The interior features a dove gray sateen fabric lining, inside zip and multifunction pockets, two standard slip pockets and my favorite little detail--a pen pocket. The rear of the bag has a large slip pocket that can even hold an iPad, tablet or e-reader.

Color: Dark Purple/Eggplant/Aubergine
Construction: Patent leather exterior
Size: 14.5 inches high x 9 inches long x 4.5 inches deep
Strap Drop: 8.5 inches

This is real patent leather, not patent fabric, and it is soft, supple and stain and water resistant. There is no damage or cracking on the straps, no pulled threads or stains. The lining is clean--I have carefully treated the sateen to eliminate evidence of previous use. There is one tiny spot of wear on the left front corner (see last picture) but considering it's a couple years old and used daily for several months, it shows the quality in this tote. It comes from a smoke-free home.

Actually now that you mention it, these wrinkles may be a delayed reaction from the stress of my ex-bf too!! Lol-God he has drained my finances, my patience and the skin elasticity on my forehead !!!! What next???!?! Lol

Stress, especially relationship stress, does seem to take its toll on our skin. My advice is make sure you're drinking enough water, eat foods high in flavonoids (sweet potatoes, citrus, kale), use a high quality anti-aging moisturizer and laugh. Laughter doeth good like a medicine. :D

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes and nice compliment (this pic is from August). Goodness, if people keep telling me I don't look 50 my head might swell so big I can't find a hat to fit it. LOL. Honestly, in my mid-30's I went through a period of hair loss I thought was going to leave me bald and definitely saw a real uptick in fine lines and wrinkles. I began using more aggressive anti-aging products and let go of a toxic relationship and definitely saw an improvement within 6 months.

I'm overweight and should be eating much better than I do, but I don't smoke, drink alcohol or suntan (since I have nearly no melanin) and have been blessed with good genes. Strangely enough, when I was a teen everyone thought I was in my 20's. :)

I am blessed with good genes, have been using quality skin care products since my early 20's, don't smoke, and had the good sense to throw in the towel early when it came to tanning. Plus I live in Minnesota, and you know the frigid cold preserves everything--kind of like nature's botox. LOL.

Cheri, you are so sweet. I really try hard to list items that I would be thrilled to buy myself, so your sweetness in saying so means a lot. I spent some time out on the deck cleaning the suede on that bag, so it's good to know getting slightly high from the suede cleaner vapors was not in vain. LOL.

I think you told me about a deep-seated desire for Coach tennis shoes--I did not know about the beanie. Does Coach make toboggans? That's a new one to me. So, I'm on the hunt for hats now too. The first time I saw this bag, a friend was carrying it in a lavendar, and I vowed to get myself one. This deep purple was "the" color for me, and I've definitely enjoyed carrying it, in part because it's so rich and not vulgar. :)

I'm blessed with pretty good genes (my mom's 71 and looks closer to 61), have used moisturizer since my mid-20s, don't smoke or drink and limit sun exposure. I try not to stress (Prov. 3:5-6) too much either and smile a lot. :D
