yes it is specific but some have ct. and some more than others , if you look them up you can find out the ct cut on each

Lets be Clear on this ring, most CZ rings aren't sterling and stamped .925 the Simulated Diamond is 4.24ct on this particular ring so that is what your getting , it is a very beautiful ring to. Was a gift but just as soon not remember that person any longer so I placed it on here .

While this is a gorgeous ring, and I surely hope to win it, simulated diamond is another term for cz. High end cubic zirconia can go for $100 to a couple hundred dollars. And honestly it is not fair to say that CZ is not normally set in sterling silver. Being an avid jewelry fan, (and have two fully stocked jewelry boxes already) I have many gorgeous cz (simulated diamond) rings that are set in sterling, and even one set in 10K gold. In your case, I know this is truly a high quality ring. What hurts the term "cubic zirconia" is not the person being honest about it, but the person selling ebay "china" rings as cz and gemstone when most are truly colored glass. CZ's are in fact a perfect manmade diamond, same rating on the moh's scale, same refractivity, just no inclusions. So please do not take offense when someone calls this a CZ, because that is what it is, and a really gorgeous one at that!

Absolute, Diamonique, Brilliante, they are all cz's, or simulated diamonds. Diamonique also has some very high priced rings set in 14k gold.
