Description

The listing, Humming Bird Vines AKA Cypress Vine (Ipomoea)(20 Seeds) has ended.

This rapid growing vine has bright red blooms on delicate fern-like foliage. Vines flower from midsummer to frost. They will climb as tall as the structure you place them near and can reach from 10' to 20' in one season with at least 4 months of those beautiful blooms. Like Morning Glory, the flowers open in the morning and close at night. Easily grown from seeds that germinate in 14 to 16 days. They sprout from most any type of soil, they are hardy, and are super easy to grow. Hummingbird plants are mainly an annual that can be planted outside after the last frost. The plants like part shade to full sun and will climb on most anything. The vine is perfect for covering a trellis, porch, arbor, fence or a mailbox post. The hummingbird plants are easy to bring down for the winter and in warm areas will reseed returning the next year. This is why you get 10

These are not trumpet vines. Trumpet vines is an invasive plant. I do not think ya can grow them from a cutting. How ever it does not hurt to try. If not then ya would have to wait to collect the seeds. Remember they are invasive, N if ya do not keep them in line they will take over everything N strangle out some other plants. The flower on these are quite smaller then the trumpets. A humming bird can get lost in a trumpet LOL where these they just lose their beaks LOL Hope this helps Take the name above N do a search for the AKA Name ya can read mor eof them. GL on trying to grow from cut.

if ya are talking bout the trumpet vines they will do the, how ever they are heavy due to the size of flowers N foilage. These grow fast too, but are not invasive. If ya do the trumpet vines make sure there are no other plants that these can attach to so they wont get choked out by the trumpets. The trumpets also come in red, they are prettier then the orange. I was goin to grow them as ya want to but my mother told me what they do, N I read it online too. GL n TY

This is the last run for these. So I will not list again til next season. I harvested these from mothers plants last year. I have lots of them to go. I might change listing a bit to give more out. Keep a watch.
