Most listians prefer tracking until you have the seller wings badge. You get that after a few good seller feedback a come in for your username.

Okay, cool. What is this "verified" that I have been reading about?

It's a way of proving that you're a real person and you want people to trust you. It's been a while since i became a member and got verified so I probably won't have the best info on how exactly to do it, but at the very least you want to put your address in on here so that listia can verify that it is, in fact, a real address. It is useful for when you use your credits to bid, because a lot of people will not ship to you if your address is not verified. A lot of times people will not get verified and then say they didn't receive an item and ask for their credits to be refunded. Verified address just makes sellers more comfortable sending you won items because if listia verifies, more than likely the item is going to make it to the winner. They check with the post office to make sure it is formatted correctly and won't have mix ups if the verified address is used. By verifying with credit card (cost is only $1.00, and I've never been charged another penny) it shows you mean business about trading on here and also helps listia stay up and running and able to offer cool raffles for gift cards and nice items occasionally. If you go to your listia page from a browser you can take care of the verification process much easier than from the app. Actually I'm not even sure it's something that can be done from the app. Hope this helps, and sorry for the novel!

@616_joshua Hey bud, welcome to Listia. Great auction and skull candy DOES make some awesome stuff. As for the Verification thing, it's really quick and easy to do. All you do is click on your name in the upper right corner. When you see the drop down and it says "My Listia", click on that. It will take you to your profile and on the left side you'll see a lot of options like your inbox, your auctions, auctions you're watching, and what-not. Scroll down a little and you'll see an option that says something like "Account Settings". In that section it will say "Verify Your Account". Click that and it will show you how to do so.

It's great to be verified both as a buyer and a seller. As a buyer, you'll already be verified so all they have to do is send you your items you win. As a seller, you'll get more feedback, more watchers, and higher bids because the better verified you are, the more likely buyers are to trust you and bid higher on your auctions because they know you're trustworthy and not scamming them. Doesn't take very long to do it, and they even have tutorials on the "Verify Your Account" page if needed to help you out.
