The listing, Paperback: Letters of a Woman Homesteader has ended.

Up for bid is the paperback book, Letters of a Woman Homesteader by Elinore Pruitt Stewart. This book was printed in 1988 and is in good, readable condition, having curled edges on the cover and a couple of wrinkled pages at the front. (They look as if they've been wet at some point.) The cover is still shiny and has no creasing at the spine. A name and date are written in ink on the inside front cover. The pages are clean and tight but yellowed from age.

I see pictures of my own mother's upbringing and it does make me realize that we are so very lucky. My mother grew up in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia.
