Description

The listing, Chenille Plant cutting has ended.

This listing is for a cutting of the beautiful chenille plant. If you win the auction I will send directions on how to take care of it as well as how to root the cutting- The fuzzy catkin flowers can become very long, sometimes as long as 18 inches! To nicely display your Chenille Plant, hanging baskets are best. If a hanging basket doesn’t work for your situation, you can try placing the plant on a plant stand so that it has room to cascade down a bit.
Chenille Plant requires lots of sunshine to fuel those flowers. This would be the plant you give the prime sun-shiny real estate to. The more light you can give this plant, the better, but it will also do okay in partial sun. If your plant isn’t flowering for you, the first thing I would check is how much sunlight it gets a day. thanks for looking and good luck! If you have any questions just message me!

Are these easy to root?

i root them pretty easily- i just put some root hormone on the end and stick it into some moist vermiculture mixed with perlite then i cover with a baggie, usually roots in about 3 weeks. i will send directions to whomever wins so that they have the best chance at getting it to root. i am rooting a couple now and then i am going to list those later. thanks for looking.
