yea.. some say gold some specify 14k, 10k, etc, some say overlay. I would like to know what pieces are solid since it doesn't specify. thanks :)

No solid gold. I wouldn't give solid gold away on Listia!A simple Google search about gold you will learn that gold is brittle alone and it is mixed with other metals, alloys and the amount of gold in a piece of jewelry is stated in karats.To determine how much gold is in a 14k gold necklace you can do a Google search to find calculation.

I know the differences between types of gold. I'm not dumb. I only bid on auctions that have solid gold pieces, that's why I asked. You may not list solid gold but other people do.
