Are the posts on the earrings real silver? I only ask b/c I have to wear real silver or gold or my ears get infected it doesn't matter if it says hypoallergenic, not in my case.

Avon states that all of their jewelry is nikel free. Avon always has their sterling silver marked and stamped. I would say that they are not. Thanks for asking.
