The listing, SPIDER LILY BULBS (Lycoris radiata) Tiered Auction has ended.

For auction are 3 freshly dug Red Spider Lily Bulbs. These fall bloomers are related to another favorite of mine, the Amaryllis. They are drought tolerant and survive to -10 degrees. Please ask if you have questions before you bid!
The winning bidder will receive 3 bulbs of various size.
I WILL ADD BONUS BULBS IF AUCTION EXCEEDS 5000. AFTER 5000, I WILL ADD MORE FOR EVERY ADDITIONAL 1000.

Okay, I think I have looked at most of your auctions and did not see these listed. So hoping not to embarrass myself by asking...will you be posting any Moon Flowers cuttings? Or did I assume too much from your FB photos? :-) Love your auctions beautiful plants!

You were almost correct! I don't have any cuttings this late, but I will be auctioning some seed pods from the plant on facebook They have not fully matured yet, but check back in about 4 week! Thanks for the kind words!

Oh that's good. Almost got some cuttings one summer from Osage State Park. The ranger was suppose to throw them away instead of giving them to us, but told us to come back later. When we went back she wasn't there, so...out of luck...
I have always wanted to have them...remember my mother talking about how much her mother loved the ones in her garden, and we are talking ancient history here, since I am 71-years-old! :-)

I googled moo‎nflower and I got 4 plants that name could refer to. ‎Night-blooming cereus - ‎Datura - ‎Ipomoea - ‎Mentzelia. Which one are we talking about????
