You are bidding on a really nice old hexagon shaped covered sugar bowl manufactured by The French China Co. in the Martha Washington Pattern. .A small amount of the gold has worn off the handles and cover finial from use, but is still pretty bright. It measures approximately 7" from handle to handle and is approximately 2 1/2" high (not counting the finial top). It is in very good condition and I see very little, if any, crazing and no cracks or chips. It is marked in green on the bottom "F.C. Co. (this has been smudged, but research established that this is what it is) and Martha Washington" and the number A24 or 424 which is probably the pattern ID. There is also an underglazed raised letter "G" on the back. You are bidding on what you see in the photos.
