This is a 1976, Book Club, Hardback edition of Frank Herbert's masterpiece, Children of Dune. The book shows a good amount of wear and tear, especially the dust jacket. But, is a really great copy to use for just reading the book leisurely and without worrying about keeping it in a pristine quality. I wouldn't buy this copy with the intent of giving it as a gift to a Dune fan unless, they treasure books of any condition but, if you are becoming a Herbert fan or just discovering him and have read the two books prior to this one, then consider picking up this copy.
