LG Portable Super Multi Drive for Notebook users. This makes burning CDs user friendly. CDs at 24X while DVDs range from 4X to 8X depending on type and function [full list on box and instructions]. Install discs and original packaging intact. I only used it to recover my Notebook. The best answer is for you to do a search. A BING search produced this "Plugged it into the laptop and it worked fine. The only issue is that you can't just plug it in at anytime in windows 8. It has to be plugged in from start up. So far I have no real complaints. Does everything I need a CD/DVD drive to do." However, it does not say if that was 64 bit or not. So You need to do more research
