Description
The listing, Handmade Greeting Card Doilies, Lace and Flowers has ended.
I made this card using two of my favorites.....lace and doilies. Actually three of my favorites because I love flower accents on anything. Pink is also one of my favorites. The card measures 6 1/4" X 4 1/2". I don't think this one can be mailed although it comes with an envelope. The flower increases the thickness and I'm not sure it would make it to its destination unharmed. It's one of those you will have to hand deliver. Thanks for looking.
Let me know if you're interested in purchasing more than one item and I can combine the shipping.
Questions & Comments
What about mailing it in a bubble wrap envelope? Really want this for someone but it would have to be mailed. You have to mail it to winner ......??
I will mail the card to the winner in a bubble envelope with additional bubble wrap around it for extra protection. I also put some light cardboard over and under it. If the package is sent First Class and marked "FRAGILE" it will not be hand cancelled. The cost of this is a minimum of $2.32. This is a lot more than a stamp. But...it can certainly be easily done.I will add this to my listing. I wasn't thinking at the time. I thought perhaps some people include a card when they give a gift in person and this card works for that situation. Thanks for pointing it out to me though. I greatly appreciate your input. Jo
Well, whoever wins this auction , if they can tell you how it faired with the USPS the first time might help. I have a friend that is always sending me handmade cards that she makes and I'd like to send her a beautiful one back. Watching.........
I have mailed cards like this in that way before and the feedback is always positive. I just like to warn potential bidders that it is not just "stick the card in the basic envelope" and put it in the regular mail. If it's packed in the bubble envelope between two pieces of cardboard and sent First Class Mail there shouldn't be a problem.
