This auction has enough yardage to knit/crochet a long sleeve sweater. I am an XL and its enough for me.

I'm confused...it takes 275-400 yards for adult socks (depending on the size of the feet and how far up the leg they go)...can you really make an XL sweater out of 800+ yards?

There are different widths in yarn, this is a DK width, I never made socks out of this yarn but I have knit over a 50 sweaters and I need 600 to 700 yards of DK width yarn, this auction is for 822 yards, if someone needs more then that then they are 'larger' then me, if this is the case then I can get them more of the same yarn.
