No. One of the best ways to determine if a listing is legit is to look at the seller's feedback rating. For me, with over 1,000 auctions listed and won, if I listed fake items or auctions that were scam's, you can be sure it would reflect in the feedback.

Of course there are new Listians w/great, authentic listings & seasoned Listians who list fake UD palettes (as an example).

Also look if the seller is interacting with those who leave comments, if their description gives enough info etc.

This listing here is probably my most popular one I do & they have all been very well received.
