FREE: Reblooming Violets

Seeds collected from my garden (pictured). Easy to grow. Reseeds so it naturalizes easily. Have not bought violets for years because it reseeds so easily. Zone 2 - 9

Full sun to part shade (shadier sites results in leggier plants). Height varies with size - mature plants can grows to 5 inches tall, but it usually takes a few weeks after first flower. Reblooming plant.

The seeds are tiny, and comes in shades of brown. The darker the seed only implies that it has clung onto the seed pod longer. I collect the few seeds that remain after the pods have exploded (opened), so all the seeds are ripe for germination.

Easy to grow in a container and transplant as a seedling (water daily until established) or keep in a container (water daily if over 80 degrees). Once the plants are established in a permanent spot within the garden, it is quite hardy.
