I wanna take a moment to share with you about this jar and all the beads it....

I'm jewelry artist, amoung other talents:-)
I'm to lazy to sort my beads and put them back into separate containers.
When I make jewelry I have to look at them rolling around in my white corningware pie plate to get a since of how they look together. Sometimes I play with them like this for weeks! I will select "A BEAD x's 100 or more" of that one bead. Play with it in pie plate as though I was panning for gold...LOL... Then go digging through shelves and shelves of jars of scrap beads that I have tossed into old jars like this to find the few accents I know are there! Then off to my local craft store to get more to pan around with!!! This process may go back and forth to the point of becoming REDICULOUS! Driving my poor husband crazy!

So, with that said.... he suggested that I start auctioning these jars one by one to make room for necessaries like GROCERIES! Ugh!

This jar is the first of many to end up in auction. I don't just throw beads in them! Sometimes I get flustered with my bead board being cluttered and end up tossing charms, vintage beads, natural stone beads, cobachons,clusters of wire, sections of leather cord, sometimes an entire peice of jewelry that is near completion that I got moody with! I love the way all this looks in the old jars. But, I have probably 15 to 20 of these jars. Time to start parting with them!

Hi Brandy! Bead storage... there's a subject that I could drive myself straight to crazy town if I were to think about to long... that is why I am unloading some on Listia...LOL... What my hubby doesn't know is...... that I am secretly plotting to get rid of these that are in jars just to go out and it it all over AGAIN!!! Shhhhhh please don't tell anyone...LOL

We are same at heart i do the same crazy thing....i work with mentally disabled adults and they love the bracelets and earrings we make....the beads end up at times on the floor so i sweep them up and put em aside....you have a great idea!!! or your husband does... lol
