Everything works. Car auction mount is attached to device (see photo). Will not do GIN for 5,000 - barely would cover shipping cost.

How does this work. Do I have to pay a month fee to have the GPS work?
I get that the GPS system is fully functional but how does the navigation work?
Does that make sense.

You don't pay any monthly fee. The maps are from 2012, so if your streets have changed then, that will not be updated. Navigation is a touch screen - you put in your address or points of interest.

To be honest, I've never found be traffic alerts that helpful or timely, even on my iPhone maps. It has that feature, but usually by the time you are in traffic, I haven't found it really saved much time. The best feature I think is when driving on the interstate, it tells you which lane to be in when an exit is coming up - that's really helpful when traveling in a city you don't know.
