I got this brand new from Amazon for a Christmas gift. I didn't read the description which said the box was damaged. When it arrived I was horrified to see the box smashed and knew I couldn't give it as a gift to my friend who collects these with the boxes.

I figured there may be someone who takes them out of the box. Anyways this is Tyreese #152 from edition 5. The figure is new only the box is smashed a bit. Please see pictures for more detail. This is the description I got from Amazon .

Omg I got so excited until I read the box was damaged. Sadly I've gotten a few where the box was damaged from amazon. I haven't seen a Tyrese anywhere in stores and he's the only one I am missing

I'm so sorry :( I wish it hadn't come damaged but it taught me a lesson to read before I buy things. I know some people don't care about the box because they take them out, but myself, I know they are worth more with the package and the package not being damaged. You may check where I got this one at :) Hope you find one :)

I've never taken any of mine out the box. No idea what they even feel like lol. I'll check out amazon for a Tyrese. I'm still working on my collection. I counted last night just the pops alone and I have 22 so far. I also collect the action figures and mini vinyls and bobble heads

That's cool. I can't say in public how many I ordered my friend lol she has a Listia account to and it would ruin the surprise but I just had to initiate a refund today because I received one and the box again was damaged but description said brand new so this was the seller's fault because I did read on that one. My friend just started collecting but I'll be picking them up for her here and there as well.

Amazon makes me mad sometimes. Back when Surge was released for cheap I ordered some and did the $35 with free shipping so I got me a prison rick as well. Don't you know amazon packed that rick in with the surge and damaged the box. I'll know next time to select separate shipping on my funkos

Yeah I understand. I think I will look for some out of town as they came in from Amazon upon deciding if I need to get a refund or not. Bad thing is my friend lives across the U.S. from me so they have to arrive to me safely, then I have to ship them safely to her for Christmas lol. I am using a ton of bubble wrap. I got this covered lol.

Yeah I have to drive a good ways to get to hot topic and the local walmart isn't too grand either. I've noticed that different ones have different stuff.

Looks like I'll be making the drive... Another one came today damaged, it was stated brand new unopened but had a crease down the back of the box, now the seller wants to argue with me because I asked for a refund and they wanted pics as proof. ughh They got their pics alright. Along with a not so happy why am I going to lie over a $9 item response.

Looks like I might be putting another one of these up, had to contact a seller because the box was damaged again. Not as bad as this one though, just a crease down the back
