That's correct. IF you bought them (and nobody really does unless they are close to winning/losing something and only need a few credits quick)... There are MUCH cheaper ways to get credits though. Search for "gift card" and watch a few of them. This is a very high end example but this auction http://www.listia.com/auction/188641 for a $10 walmart card ended up at 1507 credits or $10/1507 = .006 per credit or 10 credits = .06 rather than 10 credits for 1.00 if you bought them.. That doesn't seem right but I guess the math is correct. I don't know, I just got out of Algebra and my brain is fried from logarithms.
How do you get this many credits?! List good stuff! This site isn't as much of a "auctions for free stuff" but more of "exchange your old or unused stuff for other people's stuff that you want" It's "free" because there are credits instead of cash exhanges I guess and NO FEES which is awesome.
My website kind of has more info (hasn't been updated lately but it still has usable info) freeorsale.com and there is a "Listia" category on top...

I bought one for my teen to use for school . However she use's it for everything . It tends to heat up a little though . Handles better then i thought it would Great buy . Paid 221.00 for mine at Xmas .

Not for this computer, This computer wasn't even available until after January 15th I think. The N450 processor wasn't released until Dec 21st but didn't hit the shelves until mid January. This particular model has also never been anywhere as low as 221. There are other 1005PE versions but the -PU17 version is the one with 14 hour battery life, new processor and all the little extra features the Best Buy version doesn't have. This version also stays VERY cool I think because of the N450 although it is a 6 cell battery.

I got on craigslist and tried to get more local people here to join Listia, but eventually craigslist flagged my listings and shut them down (I was actually trying to sell the stuff in the listings, but they actually called me and said it was obvious I was just fishing for the Listia sign-up benefits). I told them Listia was free to everyone, I didn't earn any money (and usually no credits) for a new referral. So now I post Listia info on craigslist but people have to e-mail me for the link.

I saw my friend today who is sick and made the mistake of opening my big mouth and let it slip that I was bidding on this for her. She was so excited and started to cry. i know this don't pertain to this auction but for those of you that knew this person i thought you should know this
AZCOWBOY <petz_4ever@yahoo.com> if anyone has dealt with this person on here I was just informed that he passed away a few days ago. Do to complications of medication given to him after having a tunmor removed from his thigh and when he returned to the hospital they found tumors in his lungs and he didn't survive the surgery and now he has went up to be with god please let's say a prayer for him and his family they are really in need of a lot of prayer right now thank you every one. We have lost a great kind loving a caring man.

Prices change so much. I don't discuss how much I paid or a current value usually because someone will always compare it to something wrong or find a better deal so I'd suggest just googling 1005PE-PU17-BK and checking for that specific model to get a value. Thanks

This is the first but probably wont be the last computer I list on here. I may be listing another soon but not a netbook. I got a nice little emachines laptop from Black Friday sales that hasn't been getting much use either but we'll see about listing that. Build up some credits anyway though and you'll have a good chance at getting a laptop for school sooner or later

I don' really care about referrals except when they have a referral auction LOL. I've still got a few relatives I can tap if needed, including my husband. We still only have one Listia account on our IP address ... but then again we have two homes .... hmmmm!

I love the referrals I've got lately. I only got a few referrals for the first couple months and actually got exactly 40 this month without knowing a single one of them. Only 5 have actually completed an auction but that's like 250+20% of their first auction so that's not so bad for doing nothing and with more completing on the way.

Well, I just started college finally this spring (at 28 years old) and I can't even use it in 3 of my 4 classes and the one class I can use it in, I don't need to because all of the notes are posted online after class anyway.
I also have a desktop and my wife's laptop as options and I use my desktop almost all the time anyway so I figure I'd let someone else have a chance at getting a nice computer who can use it more. There have also been a lot of nice auctions lately that would be nice to have a chance at.
