As the title suggests, this is a Super 8 film cartridge for color movie filming. It's 50 ft on never opened film that expired in 1973! I have no clue if it would work or not. I do collect cameras a bit but have never worked with expired Super 8 film. I have worked with other expired films and results have varied... sometimes for the better!
