This fantastic Plastic Canvas Pattern Book is brand new never used from my craft business. There is nine wonderful designs to make, and all from PC Stitch Artist Janelle Giese! There is 24 pages in all with full color stitching graphs and pictures. This pattern book is by The Needlecraft Shop, and is pattern book number 845519. It retails for $6.99. Enjoy!

Is this like needlepoint?

Hi & Thank You for your question! Yes and no about it being like needlepoint. It is done on Plastic Canvas Sheets, using much of the same stitches we all learned in Needlepoint and Cross Stitch. Your going to pull the yarn up through one hole on the plastic canvas and down through another in the direction shown on the pattern graph you are following. I find it to be a relaxing easy craft. Back in the days when I did Girl Scouts I taught it to them often. I will be listed a couple more Plastic Canvas patterns later tonight and one of them is a Plastic Canvas Stitches book. No worries, i am a pretty much a craft nut too, I just not into cross stitch, just it too small and tedious for me. Bet this sounds more doable for me.

Yes I do find it much easier. I always tell my students that if they love cross stitch that they will really love plastic canvas! Plastic Canvas is also known as PC. The long stitch picture patterns are my absolute favorites as they are stunning when done and they stitch up so very fast too. But I am a craft nut... Thanks Donna!
