Yes the chain around them spins a lot of people use them like worry rings they spin them in times of stress too. I catch myself doing it and not even realizing it. Sometimes it is relaxing I wear one on my left thumb as a thumb ring :)

Men's and women's sizes are generally the same the only difference is that women's rings are usually smaller and men's rings have the larger sizes.
