Original packaging has "Rock Hobby Shop, Phx., 2817 E. Ind. Sch. Rd., Ariz. Am.5-3573" stamp.
Great for collectors, jewelry makers, lapidary, healing crystals and stones. A few bonus stones included as they were in same bag. Not sure what they are. Similar size as rest of stones.
Psilomelane, erroneously, and uncommonly known as black hematite (but not related to true hematite,
which is an iron ore), is a group name for hard black manganese oxides such as hollandite and romanechite.
Psilomelane consists of hydrous manganese oxide with variable amounts of barium and potassium.
