Is this a picture of the actual plant for your seeds? This doesn't look like princess feather, as princess feather is an amaranthus.

It is and some of the blossoms measured 13 inches. I have gathered my seed and replanted for years. I do not know the botanical name for them but I am 64 years old and all my life they have been called princess feathers around here.

They have been pretty year after year. I think the blossoms were so big this year due to Miracle Grow Bloom Booster. When they were about a foot tall I mixed it up and gave them a good drink of it and one other time. So I guess you could say they had energy drink twice this year.lol

Sounds good! You are still in zone 6 aren't you? I am in zone 6. We had a wonderful summer, temperature wise, until about August then it got hot. I'm hoping this next summer will be as nice too so all my new seeds will have a good start.
