Summer is done and urban dwelling forces me to downsize. So...
Up for auction is ONE of my stunning HAWAIIAN RED & GREEN TI PLANT. I won these here on Listia and all of the stalks have really grown. The stalk for auction will be taken up from the soil just prior to mailing and will be carefully packed for safe shipping. To avoid confusion, I will pick a great stalk for you.

There is a great deal of information online about these great plants, but I have discovered they are really easy to grow!

So they grow out side in summer but have to bring them in in colder weather?

Already a fan and I`m watching as well. Now do these still keep the red color to them once you move them inside for the winter months?
I`m not sure I`m spelling this right but to me these look something like a yucca tree plant or in that family is that about right in the area?
I do have something like this but it is all green and right now is almost 6ft tall in front of my window all year round. I need to give it more water than I`ve been giving it though.

Hey there. I think what you have is a yucca, indeed, and these are related I do believe. Mine keep the red and green all year even when brought inside. Check out google on this one because most of my knowledge comes from there. Search for Hawaiian Ti plant red and green. I really got groovy info there.

My entire little apartment is filled everywhere except bdrm and bathroom with plant starts. I actually have no room for any more but I really like them and would find a spot for this one as well if I were to win it.. LOL.
