Stanley Kubrick's The Shining starred Jack Nicholson, Shelly Duvall, Scatman Crothers, and Danny Lloyd. This thriller displays Duvall and Nicholson's incredible talents at promoting an atmosphere of suspense, and Scatman comes across with his incredible ability to connect it all. Danny Lloyd played Nicholson and Duvall's son, Danny, and never acted again. This movie is scary enough that I would never have acted again if I had played the role this kid played. The suspense in this thriller is great, which is typical of a Kubrick film. Do not take your eyes off the screen for a moment... and if you really want it to make an impact, watch it in the dark. :D
