The listing, Custom Digital Art Portrait has ended.

This is for a digital art portrait that will be emailed to you in its original, uncompressed format. The finished image will be 1024 x 768 pixels. It will be perfect to print out or post on your facebook, etc.

I will also mail you a 4x6 print out of the image if you live in the United States. Feel free to bid if you live elsewhere, I will still email you your finished portrait.

According to Listia rules in relation to digital downloads that are prohibited:

Electronic downloads of any kind
MP3/music files, movie files, digital photos, electronic books, pdf files, etc, including devices advertised with media on them already
Exceptions: content created by the lister and not available for free elsewhere

This is a one of a kind piece of art that is not currently and will not be available for free elsewhere. Please don't flag me. :)

Here's how this will go. The winner will email me a photograph of a single person (I may post another auction for two people after I see how this one goes). The higher the quality of the photo, the better the quality of the drawing. I can fudge a bit here and there as you can see in the second portrait, but I prefer a clear photo.

Big, toothy grins look weird in digital art, but smirks and smiles are welcome. :)

I will ask the winner to provide me any details about colors they would like or a basic theme, as well as whether they'd like me to draw the background, or add an artsy one like in the first portrait. This will truly be a custom piece of art.

Also, please allow 5-10 days for your portrait to be completed from the time that we decide on an image and I receive it. It may take less time then that, but I don't want anyone getting antsy. :D

Do you have a photo you'd like drawn but are hesitant to bid because you're not sure if I can do it? Ask me for my email and we can discuss it.

They should come out pretty good using a higher resolution. Like 300 dpi. What resolution do you use?

The native resolution of the images that come off of my ipad is 1024x768. The image can be stretched for printing, but if you try to print it too big, the quality is lessened.
I printed one out today that was 81/2 x 11 and from about 2 feet away it looks amazing, but if you look closely, you can see some pixels. I wouldn't suggest printing it any larger than 81/2 x 11. I hope this answers everyone's questions. :)

I know they're on Etsy. Remember I told you, you are worth more that that ammount to consumer's. I'll alway's be watching either way. Really Congrats arem't in order, considering I'm the step Grandmother & 39 yrs. old. Really was just excited to have a baby in my house. Visit didn't last long, thankfully. My day is once again full, probably won't get home til 6-7pm. Then have to work more. Exciting isn't it? The fun is just beginning. I keep saying I'm going on your site. I was out again all day, purchasing things for the store like coffee maker, etc. took all day. I'll be gone again all day tomorrow. Going to vendor show. Found out today, after signing contract for lease & giving big, fat check, they decided they were only pulling up 1/2 of the carpet to replace, just hope no other surprizes. Can I send you a picture in the mail, if I win?
Also I got home about an hour ago going over the webdesign. As you see in most websites, there are different catagories, you would be listed w/3 other Artists in the Gallery part. It would not have anything to do with your site. I would use a couple sample pieces as product w/explanation on how the person of interest could purchase there own. The benefit for you is those samples would be on a designed website, that is linked to several large design house websites, facebook page, My actual store, lot's of advirtising. You will alway's have your own site. This is a chance to have upwards of 1000% exposure for free. I have to have all web design done Thursday. Pictures of other catagories are being taken, downloaded. I'll leave you an email in the morning about the rest. Just remember what I just said, I paid for all the design work, credit card enabling, advirtising. so all the work is really done as far as expenses. I'll send you an email in the morning about the rest. I have some really great picture's, just can't down load them. Hope I can stay up for this 1. I bought my maybe future son-in-law a tablet and stylus for his drawing. It now sits under a pile of papers behind his monitor. I don't think he ever used it, really. Nice to know someone does use them and really appreciates them.

Story for the day, bed last night 3:45am, woke @7am Went to vendor's show all day, I don't even know what I spent yet & can't remember 1/2 of what it was. Came home for aminute, unloaded, had to grocery shop, no food in house & starving, just got home & ate. Logged on, you were the 1st. lucky message of 342.
I planned to revise my about page for site, send to the designer, then put together home page. I've decided to wait til I'm fresh in the morning. I really need to get a full night sleep.
I think I have an appt. tomorrow evening w/web designer, to really finish this by Wed. so I'm going to bring him the pic. you did of me to use for advertising & your commissioned work. I would also like to show him the other 1. I don't know if he has talked money with the other 2 artists, so I need to find all of that out 1st. Can I mail you 2-4 different real pics. of people & like I said, maybe I can win 1 & pay for the price as they are on your site, then I'll find out the rest. 1 question, if you do these other 1's I send, how large can I actually make them & frame? He will probably want to know that. I will bring him to your site on Etsy/ so he will be able to link my site to Etsy, along w/ 6 other sites. Your work would not show on my Etsy, linked page unless that is how you would prefer. I might suggest it, because then they would be on your site+ 8 other's with a well designed site.
I hope you kind of understand what I'm trying to say as my eye's are dimming. I will let you know all answer's tomorrow night. Meantime, I have to work for only another hour, then I'm cutting myself off. I might try to get info. over to you while I'm @ the appt. then you can see somewhat of a started webdesign for my Co.
