Description

The listing, HYNIX 512MB (2x256MB) PC2100 (266MHZ) DDR SODIMM (Laptop!) has ended.

'Like New' condition Hynix (oem manufacturer for hp, compaq, toshiba, etc) 2x256MB (512MB) PC2100 (266MHz) DDR1 (=rare, 'oldskool') perfect matching pair for LAPTOP ONLY...if you have a laptop made before 06-07ish, it probably uses this stuff...if yours says 'PC2', then it WONT work for you, you actually need 'DDR2'...even though they LOOK exactly the same, they are NOT!...the slot on PC2/DDR2 is literally 1mm offset from DDR1...so make sure this is the correct chip for your machine, not responsible for your bad judgement, thats why i xplained it well! ;) ...no returns/refunds on these guys, i got plenty already!!! :)

these chips are in perfect shape & run smooth as these screenshots verify actual operation & stability, even serial #'s & matching build dates!...so you can see 'real' tested use...these are definitely not DOA, so i wont take responsibility for them either, if you happen to destroy them of your own accord after receipt! :O

...memorychips can be persnickety, so handle w/ care! ;)

*ALSO FYI*...yes, ALL (4) types of DDR1 ARE compatible w/ one another, such as: 1600, 2100, 2700, 3200MHz will all run fine together w/ no probs (as long as they are DDR1 & fit your machine), BUT they will only run as fast as the slowest chip you have running!...

update!:...also, there are some REALLY oldskool laptops runnin' chips that are known as PC100 & PC133, these are BEFORE DDR, and are also NOT compatible w/ DDR even though they also look similar...so check your memory 'speeds', and this should help clue you in to the right chip you need, (most are labled accordingly)!!!
