This necklace is nice, nice, awesome, nice!! 22" in length in an antique gold look with chains that start from the clasp area of the necklace in about 4 7/8" and spaced every other chain link to the same distance from the clasp on the other side.
It starts with a heavier chain with a small orb at the end and goes inward from there about 1/2" longer with each spike chain until it reaches the center chain which has a larger orb (all of which are alike) and then goes back up -each getting shorter by 1/2" until the last chain; which is a repeat of the 1st chain on the other side.
At the top of the longest center chain is attached a citrine stone which is 1" x 3/4" with, again, the small orbs attached.
The longest chain measures right at 8" from the top to the bottom of the large orb. A lobster clasp is used for a closure.
This was made in my home, by me. I purchased the chain and the spikes separately, along with other items used in the making of this necklace. I am just a hobbyist, that loves beautiful things; and am far from being a professional. I saw a spike necklace on another site...asking $30 for it; and thought I would try it. By, the way, the end bid was $45 on that necklace. I don't pretend to be anything I am not....I just enjoy my hobby...and can sometimes get lucky, and copy something pretty close.
By the way, citrine is the stone of success, and it raises self esteem. Seems to fall in place with the spikes...that represent strength and fortitude.
