Highly collectible, but highly circulated $1 and $5 silver certificates. The $1 is from 1957 and the $5 is from 1953. Cool lot of old money.

Yes, you're right - I didn't realize when I posted the auction. But you're right. I thought all bills of that era were silver certs, but I mistaken. Thanks for the help

The $5.00 is not a silver certificate.It is a red seal note.

Ah, you're right - I thought with that age they all were silver certs, but it doesn't say that on there. The $1 definitely is - thanks for the tip - I'm not really a coin/money collector. For some reason I thought all pre-60 money was silver certs.
