Will this hold cast iron cookware

It's rated for holding 40 pounds so depending on how much cast iron you want to hang I think you'd be fine. It comes with 12 hooks. If it were me I'd use two hooks for a super heavy cast iron piece. Also double check you've got it mounted securely. Ideally into a stud wherever possible or use a toggle dry wall bolt where not possible. (The toogle bolts can hold 200lbs for reference and the rack weighs 8 pounds so it's definitely not puny!)
