Description

The listing, BIG Pile! Coca Cola Product Caps & Codes has ended.

Have a big lot of Coke bottle caps and the cardboard ends (w/codes) from 20, 24 and 30 packs.

What you see in the pictures is the MINIMUM you will receive, as I'll be adding more caps and cardboard ends every day and the pile gets higher and higher.

The caps and carton codes I have so far will fill to bursting a medium, flat rate box!! If you collect the codes, here is a bargain!

By request, I've estimated the numbers. The first picture shows 395 caps & 4 cardboard code pieces. At last tally, using my postal scale that there are total, between 600 and 750 caps, 8 cardboard codes from 24 can pks, 2 - 30 can pks, & a code panel from a plastic wrap (don't remember how many in that one...) This is just over a full kilo weight of caps and codes - kilos are easier for me to figure number of caps - I weigh 100 caps, then weigh the lot and extrapolate.

NOTE: NONE of these codes have been entered or used in any way.

Under age 18?? PLEASE do not bid on my auctions.

At this point in my life, I can't afford to offer free shipping. If you are not willing to pay the shipping charge, do not bid. If you win and have not paid the shipping within 7 days, I'll relist and keep the credits. I'm NOT going to refund your credits if, after winning you decide: I don’t want it; I don’t want (or can’t afford) to pay the shipping charges. If you don't pay within that time frame, I'll block you from future auctions.

NOTE: Some people think since Listia doesn’t deal in 'real money', they don't have to take them seriously. Sorry, but these ARE 'real' auctions and if you can't/won't take them as such, don't bid on my listings. I ship the same day or the next one. If you sell, please ship promptly. It doesn’t hurt at all and will make your buyer happy. Ship through PayPal, get a lower price, get an automatic tracking number (come ON! You ship without a tracking number? Are you THAT naïve?) Tracking numbers help keep postal workers honest, too.

This is the last time this lot will be listed as it is. If it does not sell, I will break the caps down into much smaller lots and list them individually. If no one wants this many at once, perhaps several people will want a more modest batch.

It's a nice lot. The biggest problem that I see is that you aren't specific in the count of caps. Between 600 and 750 caps is 150 caps or 450 points. That's a big difference. I wouldn't be too happy if I paid $10 for shipping and I thought I was bidding on 750 caps and then received 600 caps. I'm guessing that is an issue with most of the serious MCR bidders that have seen and passed on this auction in the past. Unless they know exactly what they are bidding on, they will pass on it. Too much risk.

Smaller lots would probably be better. There are only 8 to 9 weeks left in the year, and MCR hasn't announced if the program will extend into 2015 (most likely it will). That is a lot of points to possibly be stuck with. You can only enter 33 caps per week. 9 weeks = 297 caps maximum if the winner has the caps today. Another downside is that there aren't, and hasn't been for a long time, any double bonus points being offered for caps. Most bidders are looking for the 12 pack flap codes.

Good luck.

The problem is that the count keeps going UP. I toss in a half dozen or MORE caps every day. Also, I'm using weight, not an actual count. My last 'batch' went fast, and the buyer was delighted with it. I'll sell them off in 100 cap lots and the buyer will be the loser, because I'll be asking MORE (averages) than for the big lot.

Doesn't matter to me either way. As a 'batch', it is a huge bargain. Broken down into small lots, not so much.
